Price Promotions

Introduction

The Price Promotion feature is useful for reducing the price of a specific set of products by either a set amount, or by a percent reduction.

You can customise price promotions by creating dynamic rules that decide which products a price promotion applies to. For example, you could set a price promotion up to only affect products above a certain stock level. As a products stock level changes, it will automatically have the price promotion applied. Each price promotion can also have multiple start and stop times specified.

How will Price Promotions show on my store?

When a product meets the conditions set for a price promotion, its price will be reduced throughout your store.

The way this is displayed, including the format and style, will depend on your stores front-end templates. Your Digital Agency will be able to customise these to meet your requirements, please contact them for further information.

There are 2 types of price promotions available:

• Reduced Amount
  Reduces the price of qualifying products by a specified amount. For example £10 off.
• Percent Reduction
  Reduces the price of qualifying products by a specified percentage. For example 10% off.

Price Promotions are Multilingual

If your store is set up to take advantage of Aurora's Multi Lingual functionality, you could use the Choose Language drop down, to the top right of the page, to customise the presentation of a promotion for each language.

Managing Price Promotions

The price promotions page can be found by navigating to Merchandising > Price Promotions.

You'll then be presented with a list of price promotions already set up on your store.

Price promotions can be managed in a similar fashion to other items in Aurora.
