Order Part Dispatch Statuses
This article details Order Part Dispatch Statuses and how they are used.
Order Part Dispatch Status Types
When creating or editing order statuses, a status can be assigned the following different order status types:
Status Type | Description | Exclusive |

Default Status | When an order is first created, it will be assigned the Default Status. | Yes |
Approved Status | An order will be automatically assigned an Approved Status when the order has been validated and confirmed. | No |
Awaiting Pick Status? | This status is used by some custom integrations. | No |
Awaiting Despatch Status? | This status is used by some custom integrations. | No |
Despatched Status? | This status is used by various integrations and other system components when identifying orders that have been despatched. Aurora will mark the part dispatch as shipped and send the user a confirmation email notifying them that their goods have been despatched. | No |
Deferred Payment? | This status will authorise any deferred transactions and not change the status unless the cost of the part despatch can be released fully. If the order has a payment transaction or credit notes associated, no action is taken and the status change is allowed. The part dispatch will be marked as authorised and payment will not be taken again for this part despatch. A part despatch cannot transition into this status if it has any order items with associated returns, refunds or ordered items with the cancelled status. The payment providers used in conjunction with this setting must be tested for support of multi payments against a single deferred payment | No |
Cancelled Status | This status is used by various integrations and other system components when identifying orders that have been cancelled. | No |
Goods Sent | This status is used by various integrations and other system components when identifying orders that have been despatched; Aurora will also send the user a confirmation email notifying them that their goods have been despatched. Otherwise known as a Despatched Status | No |
