Aurora Data Labels

Labels allow you to group together different content types, and find them all as one group when searching for data to export in Aurora.

This article describes what Aurora Data Labels do and how to use them.

Introduction

Labels allow you to group together the different content types and export them all as one group. The search will find all content that are assigned to the particular label you have selected. This makes managing data ready for exporting much easier to do.

Supported Content Types

Currently the Aurora Data Label system supports the following:

  • Content
  • Product Categories
  • Snippets
  • Site Text

Where to find Labels

On each of the supported content types there is a tab, as shown below, when editing:

How to create a label

To create a label, you simply enter a name and press Add.

You also have the option to associate a colour with the label, this is purely optional. You can either use the picker or type in the web hexadecimal colour value.

You should either get a success message, or a detailed error message.

This will then associate the current edited content with that label.

How to add to an existing label

By going to the tab described above, just select the labels you want to associate with the current content and then press Save. Again, you will have either a success or a detailed error message shown.

If you select Remove existing labels, they will no longer be associated to that content.
