IP Restriction
The IP Restriction feature allows you to enable or disable access to the back end of aurora based on a users IP Address.
Introduction
The IP Restriction page allows you to:
- Turn on and off Aurora's IP Restriction functionality
- See your own IPv4 address
- Add and remove IP addresses that will have access to the Back-end
Access
You can navigate to this feature by going to Store > Settings > Back-end
Your user needs to have Back-end IP Whitelist access rights in order to open the page. Otherwise you won't see the Back-end settings tab.
If you don't already have access, you can gain access to the page by going to Users > Edit > Access Rights > Store > Back-end IP Whitelist and granting the relevant access.
Access Types:
- Users need to have the view access right in order to see the IP Restriction feature
- Users need to have add and delete rights in order to:
- Enable / Disable the restriction functionality
- Add / Remove IP addresses
User Interface

The following controls are available:
- Restrict access by IP? - Enables / Disables the IP restriction functionality
- Your IP Address - Shows the IPv4 address that you are currently using
- List of IP addresses that can access the Aurora Back-end
- Label - Text field that allows you to add a custom label for each IP, helping you identify them later on
- IP Address - IPv4 address in format [0-255].[0-255].[0-255].[0-255]
- Remove button - Button to remove current IP address
- Add IP Address - Button to insert new IP address
