Price Group Override
This article details the Price Group Override setting, for use when the Price Groups feature is enabled
Introduction
When the Price Groups feature is enabled, by default, the system will automatically detect the Price Group to apply based on the user's request, session and information held on their account.
In the instance that this default behaviour is not desired then it’s possible to provide a fixed price group to all customers by configuring the price group override in the Aurora system settings at Store > Settings > Aurora > Products > Price Group Override
This feature currently requires Aurora Commerce to enable, please contact us to action this.
Using this setting to fix the Price Group for all users
When this setting is set to a Price Group in the list, all users using the site will see prices for that Price Group regardless of which Identity Group they belong to.
When this setting is set to Default, prices will be taken from the default Price Group.
Price Group Override when creating orders within the backend
When the Price Group override is set, the price group selected when creating a new order within the Aurora administration panel will be preselected to the overridden Price Group, however, administrators will still be able to switch between Price Groups.
