Introduction

EagleEye is a 3rd party Promotions and Rewards provider, e.g. Vouchers, Gift Cards, and Reward Schemes. Aurora has been integrated with EagleEye to fully support the use of the Gift Cards they provide.

How to Configure EagleEye

To start using the EagleEye service to integrate the use of Gift Cards with Aurora, you must first have configured the EagleEye settings in the Aurora Back-end as described in the EagleEye Integration Settings section. Once you have completed this, you should ensure your Front-end Templates are set up to handle Gift Cards, as described later in this article.

Once you have configured EagleEye in the Aurora Back-end, this only leaves the Payment Provider selection process to be updated. To do this, please follow the Gift Card Payment Provider Support Article and you will be ready to begin integrating the Gift Cards with your Front-end Templates.

Google ReCaptcha

If the Google ReCaptcha service is configured to be active in Aurora, then this will be required by Aurora when validating or using Eagle Eye Gift Cards in the event that no PIN/CVV is provided, i.e. if your cards use a PIN at the checkout, then Google ReCaptcha will not be enforced by Aurora.

Google ReCaptcha is also not enforced for administrators when they are logged into Aurora.

How to integrate Gift Cards with your Front-end Templates

Aurora provides an example implementation of the Gift Card system in the Aurora Demo Example Front-end Templates. These can be accessed as described in the Aurora Demo Support Article and are described in more detail in the Gift Cards at the Checkout support article.

Please read the articles provided above, following the steps described, to integrate the Gift Card UI with the Aurora Checkout page, and you should find that that the Cards Provided are integrated smoothly into the Aurora Checkout and Payment flow.
