Price Bands

Price Bands allow you to determine the range for price filters on the Sidebar and Filters

Introduction

Price Bands, quite simply, allow you to set the range which price filters can exist as product filters. You can find this in the Aurora Back-end under Merchandising > Settings > Price Bands.

It allows you to set as many ranges as you wish, although it is not recommended to create a significant amount, due to the vast amount of options it may offer your customers.  The beauty of Price Bands is that instead of having to ever update anything, the moment a price is changed, it will be correctly stored in the right band without you having to do anything.

Cache

Once you have modified your Price Bands, it may take a while for the page to save, due to the product cache needing to be reset.  Please be patient for this to finish running.

Sliders

You can avoid using price bands and instead implement a slider that offers your customers the full range of prices, which they can alter however they wish to see their desired selection.  We do not have any example code available for this, but by knowing the correct variables to use on the Product (Category) Listings page, a good front-end developer would be able to implement this.
