The Product (Category) Listing Pages list all the products on your store that are available for sale or view and provides a myriad of filtering capabilities to allow your potential customers to find what they want.
This article aims to address a few common questions and issues that clients encounter when using the Product (Category) Listing Page, with the intention of avoiding confusion or disruption.
Filters
Why are the product counts for the product category filters not correct?
This can occur when you have not added your products to all of its parent categories. e.g. assuming you have the following product category structure:
- Test Category
- Category 1
- Category 2
- Category 3
- Category 4
If you add a product to the "Category 1" category, but do NOT also add it to the parent "Test Category" category, then Aurora will not include it in the count of products in the "Category 1" category, as it is not also in the "Test Category" category, as shown in the screenshot below:
